About this site

This site is operated by the organizers of the MV Users (MUG + SHIMS) user group meeting to share information about the meeting and to accept registrations and sponsorships. It is provided on an "as is" basis.

Event details subject to change

Dates, location, venue, agenda, and pricing shown on this site are planning details and may change. Items marked "tentative" are not yet final. We will update this site as decisions are confirmed, but we cannot guarantee that any particular detail will remain unchanged.

Registration and payment

Registration and sponsorship fees are charged securely through CardPointe (CardConnect). The amount and what it includes are shown at checkout. Card details are entered in CardConnect's hosted, encrypted card fields and never touch our servers; payment is subject to CardConnect's terms.

Refunds, cancellation, and transfers

All registration and sponsorship fees are non-refundable. However, your registration is fully transferable to a colleague at any time before the event, at no charge, just let us know at payment@mvusers.com with the new attendee's details. If the event itself is cancelled or its dates change, registrants will be notified by email and offered a transfer to the new dates or a refund of the registration fee.

Website accessibility

We are committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and build the site to work with keyboard navigation, screen readers, and other assistive technologies. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and some content, particularly third-party pages we link to (such as the hotel booking system and payment processor), may be outside our control. If you encounter any barrier using this site, or need information here in a different format, please contact us at support@mvusers.com and we will help and work to address it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organizers are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from use of this site or attendance at the meeting. Your use of this site is at your own risk.

These terms and your use of this site are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Louisiana, where the meeting is held, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
